Kirkland graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2010, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2013, and is licensed to practice in Tennessee. While in law school, Kirkland served as a Notes Editor for the University of Memphis Law Review and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence: Best Appellate Brief. She also clerked for the Honorable Donna M. Fields in Division VII of Circuit Court in Shelby County, Tennessee. Kirkland joined the firm in July of 2014, and concentrates her practice in the areas of divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, paternity, parentage, and prenuptial agreements.
